Yes. Provide a path from the Dropbox root or a file ID returned by an earlier tool. Markifact returns file metadata and a fresh temporary download URL.

The temporary download URLs returned by the current Dropbox tools are valid for approximately four hours. Fetch the file again when a fresh link is needed.

Yes. The upload operation accepts one file URL or a list of as many as 50 URLs and places them into the selected Dropbox folder after approval.

You can choose a parent path and create a folder there. Markifact returns the existing folder when the same destination already exists.

Yes. Move and copy operations support both files and folders. A folder is moved or copied with everything it contains, and the destination item can optionally receive a new name.

Yes. The rename tool accepts a file or folder path or ID and prepares the new item name as an approval-gated write.

The delete operation removes the selected file or folder, including a folder's contents. Dropbox allows deleted items to be restored for a limited time according to the account's recovery policy.

Yes. Uploads, folder creation, moves, copies, renames, and deletes wait for explicit approval. Listing, search, and retrieval do not require approval.

Yes. Markifact works as a Dropbox connector for Claude. Add Markifact under Claude's connector settings, enable the Dropbox tools, and Claude can work with Dropbox directly in the chat. The same hosted MCP connection also works in ChatGPT and other clients.
