The delete operation moves the file to the SharePoint site's recycle bin rather than presenting it as an immediate permanent deletion.

Yes. Uploads, folder creation, moves, copies, renames, and deletes are write operations and wait for explicit user approval. Read-only discovery and retrieval tools do not need approval.

The current SharePoint connection is designed for Microsoft work or school accounts and exposes OneDrive for Business as My OneDrive alongside SharePoint sites.

Yes. Markifact works as a SharePoint & OneDrive connector for Claude. A connector is Claude's name for an MCP server in its interface: add Markifact under Settings, then Connectors, enable the SharePoint and OneDrive tools, and Claude can work with SharePoint & OneDrive directly in the chat. The same connector also works in ChatGPT and other MCP clients.
