Getting Started

Connect Your Slack Account
Click on 'On New Message' and connect your Slack workspace

Connect Your Google Ads Account
Click on any of the Google Ads account tools and connect it

Save and Activate the Workflow
Toggle the Active switch at the top of the screen.
⚠️ If your workflow is inactive, Markifact will not respond to Slack messages.

Start Using the Bot
Go to Slack and talk to the bot in your preferred channels.

Example:
@markifact how much did we spend on Google Ads yesterday for account x?

Notes

Your workflow must be active.
If it’s inactive, Slack messages will not trigger anything.

Always include the account name.
If you don’t, the agent will try to fetch data for all Google Ads accounts you have access to — this may take long or fail.

To limit the agent to specific Google Ads accounts:

Delete the List Accounts tool.
Open the Get Report tool and select only the accounts you want.
Update the agent’s instructions — remove or adjust any instructions about asking users for accounts.

How It Works

Message Trigger: Workflow activates when someone mentions @Markifact in a Slack message
AI Agent Activation: The message is sent to an AI agent equipped with two specialized tools
Account Selection: AI uses the "Select Account" tool to identify which Google Ads accounts the user has access to
Data Retrieval: AI uses the "Get Report" tool to pull the requested performance data from the appropriate account
Response Delivery: AI processes the data and sends a formatted response back to the Slack channel

Setup Instructions

Connect Your Slack Account by clicking 'On New Message' and linking your workspace
Connect Your Google Ads Account by clicking any Google Ads node and authenticating
Save and Activate the Workflow using the active switch at the top
Start Asking Questions by mentioning the bot in your preferred Slack channels
